Kids Dental Checkups & Cleanings

Dental checkups and cleanings are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile, especially for children! Our team does its best to be thorough, all while creating positive and educational experiences for our young patients. With a goal of preventing cavities and dental emergencies, these routine visits aim to treat the small concerns before they have a chance to grow.
Dental Sealants for Children

Dental sealants are clear coatings that are brushed over the biting surface of children’s molars, helping prevent bacteria and debris from accumulating in their crevices. They are able to last until their primary teeth fall out, or for years on their permanent teeth, adding an extra layer of protection against cavities.
Silver Diamine Fluoride

Silver diamine fluoride (SDF) is an FDA-approved treatment to reverse the early signs of cavities in primary teeth without the use of fillings. This non-invasive process only involves brushing a liquid over the affected tooth, allowing the silver diamine to arrest the cavity and fluoride to re-strengthen the tooth enamel.
Athletic Mouthguards

Does your child participate in local sports or school athletics? Investing in a customized mouthguard for them can protect their teeth from impact or collision on the field or court. The best part is that these are custom-made for your child’s mouth, allowing them to breathe easier as they run, jump, and dodge.
Lip & Tongue Tie Treatment

Lip and tongue ties are caused by a small connective piece of oral tissue, called a frenulum, that can restrict the movement of the lips and/or tongue. When the frenulum is too thick or long, it can cause babies and young children to have difficulty gaining weight, nursing, eating certain foods, and more. We offer safe laser frenectomies to improve oral mobility in children and boost their quality of life.
Pulp Treatment

If your child is complaining of a toothache, it could be a sign of an infection within the inner chamber. Unlike adults, children with temporary teeth don’t receive root canals. Instead, we may recommend pulp treatment to remove the damaged portion of the pulp and preserve their tooth until it falls out on its own.
Special Needs Dentistry

Our team can accommodate patients who have special needs, whether they have a physical disability, are on the autism spectrum, or get scared at the thought of visiting the dental office. We want to make sure that your child has the best experience possible with us, which is why we’ll do everything within our power to make that happen!
