According to Dr. Langley, he’s living his dream at Buggy Town Dental, getting to take care of the community while working with amazing people on his team! His goal was always to practice in a tight-knit town where he could put down roots and really get to know his patients. That’s because he believes great dentistry starts with a strong connection.

Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Langley remembers exactly when he knew he wanted to become a dentist. Sophomore year of college, he shadowed a dentist over Christmas Break. That’s all it took—he knew the field was the perfect fit for him and has never looked back.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr. Langley went on to earn his DDS from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He then did his residency at the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Langley takes an average of 150 continuing education hours every year, far beyond the average dentist. He has completed dental implant and clear aligner fellowships through DentalXP as well as the Nash Institute continuum for extensive training in esthetic dentistry. He also has his Zest Mastership for full-arch implant restoration and earned a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, eventually receiving a mastership in 2025. Outside of dentistry, he earned his MBA in 2024 from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
Dr. Langley believes it is his responsibility to learn and stay as current as possible with the latest technology and techniques to provide the best possible care for his patients. He has been using CEREC for same-day crowns and bridges throughout his career as well as a 3D printer to make highly customized dentures.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Langley met his wife, Dr. Maggie (a fellow dentist), and immediately knew she was the one. They were engaged within a year, married within two, and now they have two wonderful daughters and two cats. When he isn’t spending quality time with them, he enjoys staying fit and exercising as often as he can, but it's hard with a busy schedule between the office and family to stay consistent… he does his best! He loves cars of all types, ranging from muscle cars to EVs. While he likes to travel, he doesn’t like flying, so he’s a big fan of road trips.
