What Happens During a Root Canal?
Traditionally, root canals take place in two visits—one for the treatment itself and the second to place the crown. We can complete the entire process in one convenient appointment thanks to our in-house milling machine. First, Dr. Langley will create a window in the top of the tooth, allowing access to the inner chamber. We’ll thoroughly clean out the infected pulp and sanitize the chamber before restoring its structure with an antimicrobial material called gutta-percha. Once our CEREC milling machine has finished creating your dental crown, we’ll be able to immediately restore your treated tooth.
